Question:

A group of dogs pull a sled across a snow covered surface. It takes 7 hours to pull the 250 kg sled 125 kilometers. If the static friction is 0.6 and the dynamic friction is 0.15 what is the average power exerted by the dog sled team?

All you need is:

P = pgh

p= 1000 kg/m^3
g = 9.81 m/s^2
h = 18 meters

14.7 psi is extra information.

= 177,120 pa

= (20 cm)(980 cm/s^2)(12.6 g/cm^3)

= 247,000 g/cm-s^2

don't really need an equation, just set up the bernoulli equation across the device. I think I have it solved.  I'll post it when I double check my solution.
